Shahab Sagheb is an interdisciplinary artist working at the intersection of Art, design and engineering. In his practice he attempts merging different disciplines to devise a new medium capable of conveying various messages. He ’ s been involved with many 

engineering and design practices; his portfolio consists of examples of product design, interior design, 3D illustration, interactive installations, video and kinetic sculpture. Shahab holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a MA in Industrial Design, currently he is a MFA candidate with Digital Technology concentration at Arizona State University.

 

For the duration of his residency he will be working on kinetic sculptures using Arduino, the work will be an expansion of his recent piece called Imitation, presented at Mass Action exhibition in downtown Phoenix.
