What is at the core of your work?

Reciprocity. Understanding to say yes to myself creatively and to my lived experiences as a Mexican woman, first generation American, and progressive thought provoker.

What do you believe your role is an artist?

To show people that they are felt, seen, and heard.

To uncover our possibilities as a people, our relationship to one another, and our relationship to the land.

To make a dream feel possible.
