Grey Box Collective creates original interdisciplinary dance theatre performances that navigates complex social issues on college campuses. We explore the grey area of seemingly black and white issues that are prevalent to college students. We do this by focusing on the immediate concerns and honoring what feels most important at the time.
During their residency the will be developing a new interdisciplinary work called ‘I Am Enough’ inspired by Brené Brown’s research on shame culture…and what better way to highlight this ostracism in society than putting it on a runway. This pseudo-fashion show will feature text, movement, and media to bring Brown’s studies to life. Be prepared to embrace your vulnerabilities and live wholeheartedly after experiencing these narratives.
